After Pastoring two great churches, one in Pennsylvania and the other in Maryland, Dr. Jazz felt God calling her to begin a new work in the DMV area. So two interest meetings were hosted at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden, with over 400 plus people in attendance. Dr. Jazz shared her heart for the people and asked those who gathered to pray with her as she sought God for His perfect will and timing in beginning a new ministry in the DMV. She asked the 400 plus people to join her in prayer for twenty one days if they felt called to be a part of this new ministry. In the middle of the 21 day prayer and fasting Dr. Jazz was even more convinced that she was called to the DMV for a particular people. So at the second interest meeting Dr. Jazz shared with hundreds that gathered that she would remain in the DMV and continue the work God had began in her.

During the second interest meeting on August 25, 2015 Dr. Jazz revealed the name and mission of the ministry. Victory Grace Center founded on the scriptures: I Corinthians 15:57 and Ephesian 2:8. She named the ministry Victory Grace because Dr. Jazz knows that she is where she is by the Grace of God. She also knows that through the power of the Holy Spirit, God has given us victory over our flesh, over struggles, the devil and even death. The vision and mission of Victory Grace Center is to evangelize the lost and to educate equip, empower and encourage the saints to walk in victory every day.

On September 6, (Labor Day) – Victory Grace was birthed in the DMV and the first inaugural service was held at Bladensburg High School.
